Trekr Adventures offers the sailing vacations of a lifetime. Our team ensures that the logistics are handled and you have all the information you need. No prior sailing experience is needed. Below is a short tour of the yachts that we use. The most frequent question we get is about the accommodations and this will give you a sneak peak.

For a full week, you will live on a catamaran yacht and sail in a flotilla that averages six yachts per trip. Each yacht holds 8-10 people and provides plenty of space to live and play for the week. This is what the catamarans look like. We often use 44 foot yachts, so enjoy the tour!

Upon boarding the yacht, you will find yourself on the back of the boat (aft deck). Here, you will see the dinghy (small boat) stowed and one of the two outdoor dining/lounging areas. This is also where outdoor coolers, snorkel equipment, life vests are stored.

The aft deck is the main entrance in to the saloon, where you will find the galley, the indoor dining area, the stereo system and plenty of dry storage for provisions. The windows provide a nearly 360 degree view of the area. The indoor spaces of the yacht have air conditioning.

Continuing towards the front (forward) of the yacht, on the other side of the saloon is a door to the forward dining/lounge area. It's a wonderful space for morning coffee or a quiet midday snack while escaping the sun for a few moments.

The forward deck is the front of the yacht. It provides the best views while sailing and the trampoline is a popular place to sunbathe while underway or in port. While underway, be sure to stay aware of the sails.

The trampoline is also a favorite place for those who enjoy sleeping under the stars and waking up to beautiful sunsets. This is why we recommend bringing along a non-bulky sleeping bag. Teddy bears are optional.

For those who prefer to sleep in the air conditioning of their cabin, you will find a comfortable accommodations and plenty of storage. Please note that hard luggage is not compatible with sailboats. Please plan to travel with luggage that is collapsable and can be easily stowed in your cabin. Cabins are on the lower level of the yacht, accessible by short staircases on both the port and starboard sides of the yacht.

Our yachts also have clean and comfortable bathrooms and showers, providing a hotel-level experience while enjoying all the benefits of yachting. For those who enjoy a more adventurous bathing experience, some Trekrs opt to jump off the back of the yacht to bathe and use the outside shower to rinse.

The yacht is only part of the Trekr experience, but you can rest assured that the accommodations are both comfortable and conducive to being social with your fellow Trekrs. After all, our mission is to provide you a meaningful travel experience by visiting some of the most exotic and beautiful places in the world while building lasting friendships with others who share a passion for adventure.
